With soothing and calm water, smooth sand and swaying coconut palms, the beaches of Daman draw everyone attraction instantly.

Daman, though we have heard about this place multiple times and know that it has some of the beautiful beaches but many fail to know about its rich cultural background. It is famous for its beach, Portuguese colonial architecture, churches, and for the scenic beauty in the twin towns of Nani-Daman and Moti-Daman, which lie opposite each other across the Daman Ganga. Give time a break and be at Daman for a day with Travel Trikon to explore beautiful forts, old Portuguese churches and many more.

Itinerary

5:30 am : Meet Travel Trikon buddies at Kotak Mahindra ATM Dadar East at 5:30 am, Andheri at 6:00 am and Borivali: 6:30 am, Mira road Junction: 7:00 am.

9:00 am: Have breakfast on route

10:30 am: Reach Daman and start with the beach first! We first visit the Jampore beach for fun and click pictures there.

11:30 am: Post Jampore beach we visit Devka beach famous for its black sand.

12:30 pm: Have lunch

01:30 pm: Explore Jain temple, Moti Daman fort and Nani Daman fort.

4:00 pm: Start return journey

6:00 pm: Stop for evening snacks

7:00 pm: Reach Mumbai tentatively

IMPORTANT: Avoid wearing precious Jewelry while trekking, as Travel Trikon won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.

Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

Fitness & Health – Though backpacking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
