Don’t forget to capture the naturally beautified jungle trails that lead you towards this Jewel fort of Ratangad. Cross the Katrabai Pass which had immense significance back then in the historical days. Reach Kaladgad fort and that’s it, within no time you will see yourself entering the caves of Harishchandragad. Located in the vicinity, Kaladgad fort runs along the north base of the mammoth harishchandragad range.

Harishchandragad Fort never fails to amuse wanderers with its abundance of mythological and historical importance while the most picturesque are it's mountainous ranges. Add to it the cool and misty weather with clouds floating by as you trek to the top. Just as we prepare to welcome monsoons, be there to witness the cloud gathering first!

Day 1:  26th January , Friday

Board your Hogwarts Express and find yourself visiting the magical place of forts and nature. Get down at Kasara Railway Station from where you are about to experience 3 hours of boundless scenery as you reach Samrad village. Reach the Valley of Suspense and get awed by its enchanted view. The unique combination of canyons and valley, it is considered as one of the greatest valley in the home of Sahyadri ranges. Experience a lip-smacking home made breakfast. Get your cameras and binoculars out of your bags, as you will be heading into the deep dense forests of Ratangad and get a chance to explore its rich wild habitat. On the jungle trails, reach the caves of Ratangad and enjoy your dinner cooked by the locals in their style. Post dinner, retaliate back to the history and hear their stories from the locals. Overnight – Stay at Ratangad Caves.

Day 2:  27th January , Saturday

A new and wonderful day arises with a list of wonderful activities! Post scrumptious breakfast, head towards the Katrabai Pass. Holds significant importance back in the old times, this pass is the passage between Ratangad and Harishchandragad. Reach the Kaladgad Fort on time. Get to witness a color-show up in the sky as the sun hides behinds the mountains. Savor dinner in the caves of Kaladgad. Stay at Kaladgad Caves.

Day 3:  28th January , Sunday

Post scrumptious breakfast, pack some energy as we continue on the same trail toward Harishchandragad. Enjoy your hike in the misty jungles of the Sahyadris and enjoy its rich habitat. Reach the fort and explore its remnants and architectural beauty. Enjoy lunch at the fort overlooking its surrounding areas. Post lunch start your descend towards Pachnai and go back home with thrilling memories.

IMPORTANT: Avoid wearing precious Jewelry while trekking, as Travel Trikon won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.

Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.

Important Information: Dear Trikoners, always remember SHOES are your best companion on a trek! Please wear a good pair of TREKKING SHOES and not sports or running shoes. Make sure they are durable and firm enough to withstand tough conditions. You can carry floaters to wear only after the trek is completed. Feel free to contact Trikoner buddies prior to the trek in case of any confusion.
