Travel Trikon showcases not only the ways of farming with traditional and modern agricultural practices across varied landscapes, but also a heady unforgettable experience of India’s rural landscape and how it is evolving with time. It involves carefully planned to such a local rural village to interact with the locals and an opportunity to indulge in farming practices.

About Popti Feast

Popati is a traditional get together food party (bbq style) of north konkan. With the fall of temperature, there is presentiment of popati parties everywhere. Popati is made in a clay pot,which resembles tandoor. but food made in popati has the unique taste which lasts on your tongue all the time and the memories of it in your mind. With simple clay pots, bhamburdi (local herb) & carom seed , roasting waal pods (a kind of beans),peas, eggplant, onions, potatoes, eggs, chicken, mutton, fish and all veg delicacy to its heavenly taste and finally serve with love.

Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 0: Saturday, 09th March 2019
08:00 am : Meet Travel Trikon Team at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Next To Pritam Hotel, Dadar(E)
11:00 am : Reach campsite and freshen up
12:00 pm : Swim in the river / Boating
01:00 pm : Lunch break
02:00 pm : Learn more on agro farming technique through the locals
04:00 pm : Allotment of tents to participants
06:00 pm : Get ready for the chill to set in along with a popti feast on it way
09:00 pm : Dinner time
10:30 pm : Campfire or lights out and we call it a day.

Day 2: Sunday, 10th March 2019

07:00 am : Wake up call
07:30 am : Feel free to go for a second round of swim to freshen up the natural way.
08:30 am : Breakfast
09:30 am : Leave for Mumbai
01:15 pm : Reach Mumbai Tentatively

Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
